24 Hour Fitness Gym had Ace Plumbing Company replace a leaky shower valve. They had installed larger remodel type trim plate to cover up the tile that was cut to access the plumbing.
Removal of the larger trim plate revealed opening that can easily allow water to get inside wall
New shower valve was checked for correct operation and placement
Water proof tar paper was used as a backing to allow for the next step of lath installation
Metal latch was cut to fit area. no nails, screws, or staples were used, just a pressure fit
Mortar was applied to area and finished flush with existing mortar. This allows new tile to be installed flush with surrounding tile. Unsanded white grout finished the repair and the trim plate was securely fastened creating a water proof repair job by Shower Pros of Roseville, Folsom, and Sacramento. 916.600.2009
